5 out of 5 stars NOTE: Product photo and label DO NOT match...   July 10, 2010
    mj (Silicon Valley, CA)
...because I ordered this exact same product 6 months ago, I know that it is the correct pigment ink tank for my Canon PIXMA MP610 printer; that is, a PG-5 Bk NOT a PGI-5 Bk. If you enlarge the product photo, you will see the correct product label. I don't know if there is any real difference between the PG- and the PGI- versions, but if there is you will be most unhappy with the wrong product. I have alerted Amazon.com to this discrepancy and, hopefully, they will correct either the photo or the label.

Editorial errors aside, I love my PIXMA printer and would not dream of using any other so-called "compatible" ink; only Canon for my baby. I've sent too many printers to an early grave by using compatible ink products.

Amazon seems to offer the best price for an OEM Canon product. Always excellent service. Very satisfied.

Searched the local stores (Staples, Target, Best Buy, etc.), and Amazon had the best price i could find.

    1 out of 5 stars Canon PGI-5?   June 7, 2010

Received the wrong damned ink cartridges. Supposed to be PG-210 series not PGI-5.
Couldn't find return envelope so didn't bother sending them back.

5 out of 5 stars Canon Ink   June 5, 2010

I was tempted to try the generic ink, but too many reviews mentioned leakage, streaking, ect. I'd rather just have trouble free ink, so I bought the name brand. No regrets.
