I love this magazine! Content is professional and much more interesting than many of the popular" or "general", photography magazines. After you become bored with the same popular photo type of consumer levele magazines, step up to the more interesting realm with professional level products, tips and techniques. The images and layout are excellent, paper quality high. If you shoot with any modern digital SLR this magazine should be a complement to your pro or amateur photography.

This magazine is very good, filled with useful info. It is geared more towards the professional photographer than the amateur but it is still quite good.
I have extended my subscription.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING MAGAZINES FROM ANYONE OTHER THAN DIRECT FROM THE MAGAZINE ITSELF.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THIS ONE NOR THE AMERICAN PHOTO MAGAZINE I PAID FOR.

For Christmas this year I was given a one year subscription of PhotoPro. I've found that this magazine has articles that are both unique and informative. I have bought the last three issues and can't wait for the next one.
This magazine provides captures my attention because the informative articles are either telling me about or showing me how to implement an emerging technique or a standard one that I need to review. And, most of the material in the magazine is from some of the best photographers in the industry. To me this is a real plus.
There is some nudity (with a high artistic slant) so be aware in case you were thinking of purchasing it as a gift for a high school student. There are better choices for that age range than this magazine.
For aspiring photographers or professional photographers, I think this magazine is an excellent choice.
